About Me – My name is Noah Zimmerman and I am a multimedia producer from Queens, New York. I’ve studied and worked with written, print, and digital media for my entire life and have experience in broadcasting, sports journalism, web design, and live online programming. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Emerson College in 2019, where I also completed a minor in sports communication and played NCAA baseball as a student athlete.

BQE Media/Queens Ledger – From 2019 to 2021 I worked as a sports reporter, sports editor, and design & production editor for BQE Media/Queens Ledger Brooklyn Star News Group. I wrote over 100 weekly articles, covering a wide range of sports, athletes, and leagues across Queens, Brooklyn, and New York area. This included stories on New York native Jose Alvarado’s rise to the NBA, the selection of three St John’s soccer players in the MLS Superdraft, the founding of USL club Queensboro FC, and coverage of all major professional teams in the NYC/Metro area. While covering NYCFC I also attended international cup matches, going abroad to Costa Rica for their Champions League match against AD San Carlos. I also developed new aspects to the sports section, including a weekly scoreboard, weekly schedule, and a “3 New York Stars of the Week” column.

New York Genealogical and Biographical Society – In 2021 and 2022 I worked with the NYG&B, New York’s largest family history society, as the online programs coordinator. I contracted speakers and lecturers, scheduled educational programs, ran Zoom webinars and meetings, and marketed an assortment of events and programs for the society. In 2022 I led all marketing work for the New York State Family History Conference, NY’s largest genealogy and family history event. It was the first in-person conference since 2018, drawing hundreds of attendees in Albany and many more watching online. I also produced all online content for the conference including website pages, on-demand videos, and forums for conference attendees.

Pink Nori and Lilli and Loo – In 2022 and 2023 I worked with two local restaurants to improve their online presence, branding, and more. I designed websites, edited print and digital menus, took photos, and set up social media accounts for both websites, later assisting with SpotHopper’s website and social media team.

Continental Studios – In 2023 I began working with Continental Studios as a photographer and photography assistant. I travelled across the New York City area to photograph and assist with senior portraits in various high schools in the region. I also assisted with photo post-production, printing, and sports photography.
